Previous discussion makes it clear why Ralph Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings (1978) was excluded from this collection. And that makes sense. The 2 movies in this collection are Rankin/Bass productions, in sequence, whereas Ralph Bakshi produced the other as a separate and distinct product. However, the collection posters here still feature art taken directly from the Bakshi movie. I might also suggest renaming the collection to The Lord of the Rings (Rankin-Bass) Collection perhaps, or something similar.
