Previous discussion makes it clear why Ralph Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings (1978) was excluded from this collection. And that makes sense. The 2 movies in this collection are Rankin/Bass productions, in sequence, whereas Ralph Bakshi produced the other as a separate and distinct product. However, the collection posters here still feature art taken directly from the Bakshi movie. The excluded Bakshi movie's posters - https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/123-the-lord-of-the-rings/images/posters This collection's posters - https://www.themoviedb.org/collection/141290-the-lord-of-the-rings-animated-collection/images/posters As you can see, these posters share much of the same illustration(s), same logo title art, etc. This seems like an aesthetic conflict and a source of confusion. I might also suggest renaming the collection to The Lord of the Rings (Rankin-Bass) Collection perhaps, or something similar.

There is still more art here from https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/123-the-lord-of-the-rings ... which is not part of TMDB's Animated (evidently Rankin/Bass only) Lord of the Rings Collection.
