Orwellian Triptych (Gilliam's Dystopian Satire Trilogy)

Terry Gilliam seems to love directing Trillogies. These three films, although not linked by story, character, or setting, have been grouped together by Gilliam in his dystopian satire set of films. Brazil (1985) started it off in in a world rotten with consumerism and bureaucracy. 12 Monkeys (1995) was the second film and featured an underground civilisation trying to undo actions in the past. The final film is The Zero Theorem (2014) where a computer recluse attempts to find meaning in a corporate world.
