As part of the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2022, Sine Kabataan Short Film Competition will showcase 10 new short films directed by young Filipino filmmakers from all over the Philippines. The 10 projects underwent intensive film labs including Story Development, Safe Filming, Pitching, and Editing to further improve the quality of their films with the guidance of some of the most renowned Filipino filmmakers. They were also given by the FDCP a production grant worth PHP100,000 to produce their five-minute short films. After months of preparation and production, the FDCP is proud to present the works of the Sine Kabataan finalists.
