This collection of 8 films covers the period from 28 July to 31 Dec 1914 and in particular the Battles of Mons, Le Cateau, The Marne 1914, The Aisne and First Ypres plus the engagements of Nery, Cerizy and Villers Cotterets .Although most of these battles were minor compared with those that followed they set the scene for the whole war.
