I get that I am not in the majority that think his only good movie was 6th sense but I am far from the minority that think his movies, on average, are ridiculous

Do you think this movie was ridiculous? Honest question, nothing else. I personally enjoyed it much.

I honestly thought it was a thinly veiled attempt by M night to get his daughter into movies and very little else, the amount of coincidences needed for the movie to move forward was a new high score

But if you surmount your thoughts on that fact of his daughter being a part of it, don't you even think it gave quite a suspense during the first chapters?
I think this one gives tention enough compared to all that crap these days, at least. In my view it really makes you think of the mind of a serial killer, despite this one goes over the top.
In a way it was Dexter like. There were intersting twists at the end.
Beside all this. I've really loathed R&D my whole life, but I was surprised to have her music in my ears after the movie for an hour or so, like some kind of background music.
It wasnt terrible music at all. And it isn't terrible to boost your daughters carrier when making a movie. The music wasn't the main theme of the movie.
My point of it is that if he really pushed her daughter in front here doesn't matter. The movie is what i think was something new. A serial killer who appearantly loves hos daughter goes to a concert where he's trapped. Original setup.
