They were both locked away in a mental institute suffering from extreme PTSD. Arnie spent the rest of his life rocking back and forth, muttering 'If it bleeds, we can kill it... If it bleeds we can kill it..." over and over again.

That's why he's not in the sequel.
He greets the doctor, "Doc, you son of a bitch!" and slaps the hell out of his hand. Asks him what's with this stethoscope business?
I always wonder this too after I watch this movie.
I would assume there would be an inquiry into what happened. Afterall, 2 elite squads of commandos were wiped out with only a nuclear crater and 2 survivors remaining.
Dutch would fight for full military burials for members of his team, but denied because of the ultra top secret nature of their mission and the circumstances of their deaths. He'd be dishonourably discharged, blamed for the deaths of his team, even though the government already have knowledge of Predators but needed a scapegoat.
Anna would just get locked up somewhere where no one would ever find her. And Dutch would open his own line of hot tubs that provide mud baths.

They moved to the mountains and chopped wood and fed deer together and tried to build a normal life there.
