How come when the Sherrif saw Switchblade Sam he stopped to talk with him of how he runs a clean town, doesnt want any trouble, how he has never seen him around and to follow the sun on out of here. Does he think it know he's a criminal?

Also people dont understand Switchblade Sams inclusion, it played a key role as him robbing the house lead to Dennis diestracting MR Wilson from watching the flower, and him kidnapping Dennis, leading him back to MR wilson. geesh.
