I learned that:
the Russian military uses Huey helicopters
explosive tipped arrows create a giant fireball when they hit a building or the ground, but when they hit a person only cause the person to turn into a small cloud of pieces (no fireball).
paid mercenaries follow orders better than trained soldiers.
one canister of napalm can cause several explosions from several different sources that don't even touch each other.
explosions only move up and laterally, not downward at all... so if you jump to a lower area, you're okay.
Russian soldiers are forbidden to make audible sounds (such as screaming) when they are trapped or mortally wounded.
Russian Soldiers and Vietnamese Soldiers cooperate completely and follow each other's commands, and have no language barrier. They can speak their native tongue to each other and the other will understand.
Russians will disappear seconds before a missile hits a jeep next to them.
one can fire the side-mounted M-60 on a Huey while flying.

YES! This is exactly what I was thinking while watching this scene. I'm like how can he be flying the chopper while using the side weapon?
Another one:
A presumably trained soldier can shoot at a person in plain sight with a gun about 6 times, while said person is equipping his bow and arrow. Ducking to avoid the gunfire is not important in this scenario, and you will just survive it with ease.
