I haven't seen or read the "graphic novel" that the movie is based on, and it's appeal escapes me. (I'm a 1966 high school graduate.) I've tried to stay awake while viewing this "premium cable channel" movie, but I find something else to occupy the time or fall asleep. Tell me why I should care about two post-high school girls and their boring "existential crisis." It's a 'nothing Friday" on TV, so I'll run "Ghost World" for the fourth time instead of PBS' "Mrs. Wilson," a tale of breathtaking marital infidelity.

I made it to the 30 minute mark in "Ghost World" before almost nodding off (again). "Mrs. Wilson" proved to be much more interesting, as she found out about the "Indian" and "pre-World-War II" wives. Since "Mr. Wilson" was Catholic, the "present Mrs. Wilson" was definitely "living in Sin" since he never divorced either previous wife. Plus, her two sons now have an unknown half-brother to boot. "Ghost World," by comparison is nothing but a "Yuppie Whine" fest by comparison. (By the way, I found the TV show, "My So-Called Life" tiresome and pointless.)
