Just bought the bluray and yes, I'd agree The Raft is the best part... I also prefer Creeepshow 2 to the original as a whole but I'm a sucker for comedy/horror sequels made in the late 80s - Fright Night 2, ROTLD 2, House 2, Critters 2, Evil Dead 2, Return of the Swamp Thing... They all tick boxes that were missed in their respective predecessors... I even have a soft spot for Return to Salem's Lot...!

That was in The Hitch-hiker, the final story.

This is hard.

Judging by the MOVIE, I'll go with the first one, with Chief Woodenhead, for the following reasons:

• I'm a sucker for revenge stories
• I have my share of White Guilt over the whole Native Americans on reservations thing, so this story makes me feel good
• I'm a George Kennedy fan and I love that sweet old character he played
• The movie screwed up the ending of The Raft.

Judging by the STORIES, I have to say The Raft. It's always one of my favorite stories to re-read out of Skeleton Crew, and I've read it dozens of times. It's an original plot, and the writing is as tight as anything King has ever done.
