I would have liked to but the closest theater was about 20 miles away & I don't own a car. Not sure why it wasn't at one of the AMC theaters in my town though, doesn't make sense. But I have seen it in the theater when it first came out (more than once).

I haven't been able to afford one after my last one died. I'm an old woman on SS, which doesn't allow for much outside of basic necessities.

It's a great film! I always recall, and this isn't to be offensive to any Italian Americans, the scene wherein I think Connie smashes many of her own dining room possessions while in conflict with her husband. He's like, "Now clean it up!!!" Of course, many of us remember how that scene ended.
Just a brilliant film from top to bottom, and I encourage anyone who is reading and interested to go see it...... Happy anniversary!

Say, man... the recording artist Prince was once quoted as saying Appollonia (spelling?) had "baby breasts".... I think I concur

When I was still pre-teen age, this was the very first grown-up movie I saw in a theatre; my then-in-her-early-20s youngest big sister insisted to my mom that my then-in-his-early-teens brother and I needed to be taken to see this. Suffice it to say my brother and I were more than a little surprised and wowed by much of what appeared on screen!
