So what I understand, this is a end of the world type movie, except it's a weather machine going haywire?

Its from Dean Devlin.. Who previously worked on/with Independence day / Roland Emmerich and a few other disaster-type movie.. IT would probably be another dull, US propaganda rubbish like those movies.
