A lot better than I expected

I kept seeing "Spectral" in my Netflix queue or options and I initially dismissed it as probably being third-rate junk. But I notice that Bruce Greenwood , a good actor was in it, and figured I would give a try for a few minutes. I ended up watching the whole thing. Not a bad storyline, some good action sequences and special effects and the acting overall is quite good.

Had queued this up over a month ago and finally got around to watching it. GREAT movie!!! Love the mixture of Sci-Fi with action and a pinch of Supernatural.
The movie also looked QUITE expensive (Edit: a whopping $70 million...holy shizzz!!!!!), I come to read that original company, Universal Studios, pulled the theatrical release after _Warcraft _flopped (Related Article HERE ), then just sold it to Netflix. As much as I liked this movie, without an A-lister and given the VERY different subject matter, it probably would've failed miserably in theaters...which is a shame, because it was a lot of fun & a very unique sci-fi/action/supernatural mixture of a film!
