Hard to understand how this was ever supposed to be a sequel to 1931's Dracula. Studio trouble, very contrived plotlines, etc.
This film would have been far, far better done by Universal. I can tell it is a Coulmbia Pictures film. Much smaller production values. It looks a lot like another CP horror film. I will get the title in one second.
The film 'Cry of the Werewolf' which was unrelated to this film by plot or characters. COTW starred Barton Maclane and was I think shot on the same sets this film was.
I don't know if MeTV planned it this way, but Nina Foch was also in the 1975 episode of "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" shown later the same night as Svengoolie broadcast The Return of the Vampire, last week.

All points well taken and agreed with and ... SPOILER ALERT coming
I thought it was kind of lame at the end of TROTV, when the commissioner addressed the viewers asking if they believed in vampires and werewolves.
Both this and COTW were redeemed by the presence of a young and lovely Nina Foch in the cast!
