I kept thinking of this episode while watching this movie. A far more intimate tale, it shows how a young man's career and relationships are upended by technology implanted in him and everyone else, that records everything they hear and see. At under an hour, it tells a far more effective story, and like most episodes of Black Mirror, has a scathing sense of humor.

I agree. It's a more effective satire of social media and invasion of privacy than this movie is. It was more chilling than the movie. It showed how our technology can destroy our lives.

BlackMirror is so good... it really benefits from the tightness of the one hour anthology format...
if it was a series, it would get convoluted and cliche quickly... also most of the espisodes ideas would be very difficult to stretch into a two-hour feature film...
it's one of those rare things where the ideas and the format work well together...
