Yeah I'm kinda thinking the same. Initially I thought this was a mess after watching it but there's quite a sweet story at the heart of it. It pulls the wool over your eyes and I liked the turnaround.

And you're right, I was expecting a laugh out loud comedy but it's not that at all. There are issues, such as one night of sex and a dog being the relationship healer of years of unhappiness. And there was really no need for the kid to have a big dick to solve his problem too.
