Just watched this recently... Lovely movie...
Great to see a tender romance about overcoming a woman allowing herself to be vulnerable again... to be able to be loved and to overcome her past instead of being trapped into further bitterness... and the sensitive, but assertive man who helps her get there...
I wish they made more mainstream movies like this, that deal with real human issues, rather than just rom-coms and sex comedies...
Also, it's really well shot... You feel as if you are in the city with them, you get the context of the small, cramped diner... The camera dissapeares out of the way for the most part and yet for a dialogue heavy film it is not just talking heads...
Really good to see actual human beings on screen... solid performancrs by Pacino and Pfeiffer... Beautiful woman.

Agreed. I enjoy movies like this, and they don't seem to make them anymore.
