I think it's interesting how a lot of people believe Rapunzel and Flynn are one of the first Disney couples who really got to know each other before developing feelings, because to me it seems like they both had love-at-first-sight moments. I'm curious whether other people saw it that way, though, or I'm just out on a limb.
When Rapunzel first encounters Flynn, she's terrified until she moves the hair from his eyes, and then her face instantly softens. Even with him unconscious, it's like the first time she really saw his whole face, she was taken with him.
With Flynn, it's hard to say whether he's just stunned because Rapunzel has such long hair, but it seems - when she first reveals herself - he's taken aback by her in a romantic way.

Initial attraction to a pretty girl is not necessarily love. Just "oh, she's hot."
Yeah, but this is a movie, not real life. So I don't see why they'd show us both characters being taken with each other at first if we weren't supposed to see it as a sign that they're meant for each other. Obviously they both had to deny it to themselves for a while in order to have the modern, witty-banter dynamic, but I think we were meant to take note of those initial reactions.
And the pointy-teeth thing - She didn't look intrigued by him once she saw he didn't have pointy teeth. She just calmed down a bit, like, "Oh, good, it's not one of the guys mother sang about." It was when she saw his eyes for the first time that she got that look on her face.

Well, apparently it is love at first sight for Vanity Fair readers who voted Flynn Rider as the sexiest Disney hero of all time, just barely beating out Prince Charming by less than 1%! That was surprising to me.
