The Lost Boys was pure 80s cheese and I loved it. Batman Forever is a strange one for me, if I'd seen it as an adult I might hate it, but I saw it as a 9 year old and loved it. So when I watch it now it's got that nostalgic feeling for me so despite how campy it is I still find it enjoyable.

I was in my thirties when I saw it and loved it then. I STILL love it today.
Lost Boys = awesome 80s cheese & cheeky comedy, for sure. The DVD bonus interviews say the studio started freaking out during production because they were expecting a straightforward horror flick. The suits had no clue what to make of the funny parts, but lucky for us they let Schumacher have his way. We ended up with one of the first great horror/comedy crossovers. (I still think the frog brothers deserve their own spinoff!)
I didn't realize he directed Batman Forever until I saw this thread. But yeah I'd definitely expect the same sort of bizarre humor in that as well.

I wasn’t a Lost Boys fan, but I agree that the Frog brothers deserved their own movie.
