As for "missing letters", this is actually a permitted exception when a poster is uploaded (correctly) in an aspect ratio other than 1:1.5 (specifically 1:1.43, which is close to the iso format of 1:sqrt(2)), because it cannot be cropped to 1:1.5 without significantly destroying the poster design (in this case, cropping the letters). I think that in the 1:1.43 aspect ratio this poster is OK in terms of cropping, and since I have not found any better alternative of the same design I think that this poster can be kept. Another question is whether it is scaled up, but I am not sure about that after closer examination and therefore I would keep it.

Okay. Then I would like to suggest lock this poster as the main polish one, as it is, unlike the other ones uploaded, the one that was released along with cinema release of the movie.

We should only lock clean posters with a size of at least 1000x1500, which isn't the case. See here:

Primary

The top poster should be a "clean" poster when one is available. We count on you guys to up-vote the best textless posters in each languages to the top. While this policy might not please everyone, it is simply a matter of consistency in our design.

Moderators can set a poster as primary when needed, for example when the top-voted poster is not title-only, has an imperfect aspect ratio or when a better poster is uploaded. The guidelines for primary posters requests are located here.

The primary poster has to:

  • be naked/clean i.e. no credits, text (other than title), taglines or logos
  • have an aspect ratio of exactly 1:1.5
  • have a minimum resolution of 1000x1500px
  • meet all of our poster and image quality guidelines

It looks good when all the posters of the movies in a movie collection matches. However, the selection of a good poster for each individual movie is far more important.

Primary Poster

Please keep in mind that the primary poster designation should only be used to override a less-than-ideal top voted poster (currently airing TV series are the exception).

We won't grant primary poster requests if the poster does not meet all our primary poster requirements.

If you are unhappy with a primary poster designation, you can ask for an objectively better poster to be made primary.

When two or more posters are equivalent options, the choice comes down to our personal preferences. Please don't ask us to make your favorite posters primary if the primary posters are equally great.

I've voted for that poster, though, so let's hope it'll stay on top.

Alright, got it, thanks for help.
