Kinda weird? This is freaking weird. Like I just licked a toad and dropped some acid after weird. The director is known for weird and beautiful shit. People are either going to love it or completely hate it, def no in between for sure. I loved it.

To tell the truth. I only saw the trailer. I might give it a chance.

Just go in expecting some weird stuff. Its def not for casual film watchers.
Just watched it and came here to say that I've never tried shrooms or tabs, but this movie was like being taken on a safe, 100% sober but most enjoyable trip. It had all the elements I love, especially the ones that makes preppy people on IMDb rate it one star.
His last comeback- Bad Lieutenant wasn't exactly normal. But this is even crazier and even better.
Though it would be nice if Cage would have a comeback and stay back. Surely he's paid off all his debts by now.
Well yeah, I thought "Joe" was a great movie but that was five years ago. Since then he's been in 18 productions that more or less tanked. I hope the industry starts throwing better scripts his way because he deserves it. Castor Troy, Yuri Orlov, Sailor Ripley etc were fantastic characters that set his name in stone. Is he just betting on the wrong horses or is he considered a has-been? I think he can come back to where he once was, I hope so at least.

I thought "Joe" was ok. He was good in it. But I thought it went through a lot of overly familiar tropes that we've had in many small indie films. Well made, but nothing new.
Has he really been in 18 films in 5 years? That's insane. He was my fave actor when I was in my teenage years so it's sad to see him in a bad way.

What was Yuri Orlov from again? Leaving Las Vegas and Raising Arizona I think should also be considered amongst his best.
Well, I'm not sure if you know but Cage is in a notoriously ridiculous amount of debt. He is a spendaholic. He even owns part of Mars (yes, really). This is the reason he's in so many terrible films. He just has to keep working to pay them off. I don't understand the logistics of it but he probably is offered good roles, he just can't afford to take them.

Yes, I think he will do one day. The fact that he can repeatedly be in so many bad films but still be relatively well known proves he has staying power.
I think what would be great for his career would be a lead in a tv show. That seems to be the place for older character actors these days and I can totally see that happening.

I just did I quick count over on IMDb, I could be wrong, but if you include some voice acting then it's around 18.

"Lord of War", one of my personal favourites. Great movie, great acting.

I had no idea, I'm oblivious when it comes to celebritie's private lives. I used to be more invested until the tabloids started to blow up leaving no stone unturned and it was really off-putting. I read the headlines and get the most important facts from my daughter.

Absolutely, a tv show would have been great for him, I could easily see him in a mystery thriller like "Hannibal", "Bate's Motel", or a drama like "Six Feet Under", "True Detective" or "Breaking Bad".
