Yeah like a mixture of a the most tired prison movie and law enforcement movie tropes. The usual different law enforcement agencies can't get along with each other and one branch is trying to screw our hero over while another branch is trying to help him shtick. Then you have the usual prison shenanigans with the mandatory courtyard and shiv and surprise attack scenes.

I'm not sure the whole thing even made a whole lot of sense. I mean the last third definitely didn't, but I'm talking about the first and seconds thirds where they make a big deal of the "six kis" (repeated about a million times in the movie) Fentanyl they are importing through diplomatic avenues and all other kinds of effort and there you are thinking "Wow this fentanyl must be worth a fortune!". Then the head polack guy says it's worth sixty thousand..........seems kind of small scale for all that fuss and for a bigshot "mafia" operation to worry about.
