I loved the idea. I mostly ignore the cast as a good movie can be made even with out a really "hot" cast. The problem was that the idea was not utilized to the max and there were fair bit of details that were missed that made no sense at all. But that's a generic problem. Look at any "Time" related sci-fi/drama movie, not everybody is happy with it.
Yup. Everyone's got their own perspective for every single movie and tv show out there. That's what makes these message boards so popular and are liked by thousands of people.
The story could have also had some effort put into it. Thoughts?
Total garbage based on a great premise and more proof that movies have gotten worse in general. I tried watching it yesterday just to see if my original assessment was wrong and I couldn't get through half of it. The dialog is hackneyed, and Will Salas, the protagonist has no chemistry with Sylvia Weis, not to mention - what's his motivation to go to the rich part of town again? Just because? And the 100 year old guy who wanted to die? Why not just give your time to people in need and check out? So stupid.

I found this to be an interesting take on the Robin Hood story.

It sure is, but execution is pretty much crap.
