'One of'? I think it towers above anything else Burton has done. Landau is indeed wonderful, such a pitch-perfect performance, one of the best ever to win the Supporting Actor Oscar. Depp's career-best, too and the production design, cinematography and Howard Shore's superb score all play their part in one of the best, most visually arresting and deeply moving American movies of the 1990s.
