So it seems we are looking at $150 million worldwide opening. Its getting a release in all territories around the same time, which is a good thing and should be done for all films. But its still not looking good for the film. As more and more people see it its going further and further down in the reviews. Not to mention it needs $500 million to breakeven. I dont think its going to get anywhere near that during its cinematic run. Considering its also banned in China and The Middle East. No real surprise there. How well do you think its going to do? Are you going to go see it?

Haven't seen an MCU film in cinemas since Far From Home and it will be the next Spidey that will see my return.
The rest I'm happy to watch on Disney plus.

I knew from the outset it was going to be a different type of narrative from most of your stage 1 & stage 2 MCU movies. I want to see it for Angelina Jolie and Gemma, but I’m still antsy about setting foot in a Georgia cinema.

Eternals Opens to $71M Domestic/$161.7M Global; Powers to 4th-Highest Debut. So fell a little short of the $78 million predicted but still did ok considering it doesn’t resonate with general audiences in the same way as an Avengers or a Spider-Man. Luckily, the Marvel brand is strong enough on its own to pull in massive crowds.
