It's not like autotuned R and B is the only music by black artists. Jimmi Hendrix? How about some Trip Hop? That could have suited some of the trippy stuff going on in the trailer. The lead character doesn't even seem like the kind of guy who'd listen to that kind of commercialized R and B. The music just feels like a really odd fit.
