John Wick died and was buried next to his wife in "John Wick: Chapter 4".
The director said that there would be no 'Chapter 5', only spinoffs. However with its huge success, there are rumours that Lionsgate Films is reconsidering that decision.
Rumours of a prequel, flashbacks, or a ghost? Could he return with his mind transferred into a clone, like in "Replicas (2018)", or is it the new "Matrix"? 
No way this will happen?

This franchise was good business. Going back to the well is always tantalizing.
Given the ending of John Wick: Chapter 4, fanbase curiosity would be quite high for HOW a 5th chapter could make sense.
IF they can craft the story and the action to make sense (I mean, "sense" in the sense of the world of John Wick, of course) — and control that budget — an ROI of 5x is very reasonable and would be hard to pass up.
Why not go for it?! What else do they have to do?!

"One man. His way" has been a thing for a long time, and John Wick is this era's one man — they're going to flog that horse and keep running it.
