Was the cast of Prometheus too attractive for an Alien movie?
It seems to be an anomaly among movies in the series... Usually you'd be hard pressed to find one good looking character, but Prometheus has a couple in addition to the stunning Charlize Theron...
Did it alienate (no pun intended) some fans and critics?

Maybe we can assume that Weyland had enough money to correct any deficiencies of his daughter? As for the rest, you'd expect people on exploratory missions to be fit, and fitness likely tends towards attractiveness too.
