Discuss Se7en

Item: Se7en

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Design_issue

Extra Details: the theatrical and 'official' name (confirmed by david fincher, the director) is seven, however the stylized se7en in the titles is more fitting and functional (for searching, etc.) [it's also sort of become the more official name nowadays, since seven is such a generic word and can be a nuisance in search engines/website's individual search engines]

perhaps the official name should be seven, however the 'translated' name should be se7en (that's what shows up if there's two names) for functionality as they're both kinda official? i've seen this be done on other english films with similar title problems so that there's 'two' names. this works well for sites that primary use tmdb (letterboxd, etc.) and the search function as both titles usually show up.

Closing this because there's already a few threads about this. If you have any proof/evidence that you think you change our minds about Se7en being the original on-screen title, feel free to share it here.
