It's not super funny by today's comedy standards but it was funny and considered pretty wild and raunchy for it's time. I guess you had to be there? .. lol

Yeah it was scandalous when it came out. I thought it was hilarious. Saw it again a few years ago. It didn't age well. OTOH I didn't like Caddyshack as much when it was in theaters, but saw it again recently and it was funnier...
