I watched this movie based on a "best of this month on Netflix" list recommendation. It had a fairly interesting start, although it became quickly apparent this was going to follow a standard "Murder She Wrote" trope...TBH after so much garbage, I was kinda good with that. What I couldn't figure out was the main character. She seemed to command a lot of attention, but was not super attractive. Basically, I couldn't figure out that casting decision. Then it hit me...I thought she looked familiar. Well, this was all just a way to say, I ended up guessing it was Alyssa Milano, but strangely, as I typed Brazen movie and started to (mis)spell Milano's name, it wasn't coming up. The first result was actually the IMDB page (oh, how I which TMDB would take that spot!). Anyway, when I looked at their cast, Milano was no where listed. It was only when I came here that I confirmed Milano was indeed the lead: Grace. Going back to IMDB I had to pull the full cast listing and page-search for "Grace"...where I finally found Ms. Milano...under "Rest of cast listed alphabetically:" (Link here). So strange.
I wonder if IMDB lists her this way because she's also the Executive Producer? I only noticed that while finding the link for this post. Why would her being Executive Producer limit her top billing as the lead actor? #onemorereasonTMDBisbetter
