Reba should've been in the sequels

They were survivalists and helped the community get out of a jam. Heather complimented Burt very well and was a delight. The sequels say they divorced, but I can't see that happening when they were so much in love here.

I agree. I hate when they don't bring back the entire cast for sequels (at least the ones who survived in the original). I suppose in the grand scheme, some cast members were more expendable than others but they did the sequels without Kevin Bacon, and centered everything around Burt.

It would be interesting if they pulled an h20 and brought him back one last time. They both take on swimming giant monsters

Indeed, they were very close on original Tremors and they add up a lot to each other. I'd not see them divorcing either. It's sad when loved characters are lost due to real life actors and companies issues.
They both left all they had before, including friends and family, to live isolated on their shelter. Then they had this terrible experience with the graboids, but which they experienced together, which would result in them getting even closer. They'd never separate. They'd work hard to fix the shelter and keep living there, now "properly" prepared in case another graboid appears.
