So Helen reappearing at the end

Was that to show she had become like Candy man or was it to get revenge on her husband for his betrayel. I don't think ive seen the sequel but what happened to Helen?

I think she was supposed to take Candyman's place but for whatever reasons that idea wasn't pursued in the sequel.

Best pre 80s horror movie. Its not going to be every one's taste
