Is there no one on this board who wouldn't kill an innocent person to win this sadistic game? If you gonna kill to save your brother, kill the damn CEO of the health insurance company who won't approve the bone marrow transplant; don't kill someone in the same shoes as you. How screwed up has the system made you that you wouldn't even consider killing the true persons responsible for your brother dying???

lol that's what I kept thinking
The perpetrators of the game keep themselves too vulnerably close to ppl under extreme pressure, sometimes with deadly weapons. The guy with the bomb, why didn't he just jumped over any of them? he could blow the face of one of them. And she, with the gun, could shoot and kill Shepard.
Well at that point I guess she was out of hope and just wanted the solution for her issues, so she decided to kill the guy who had alrdy lost his eye then throw away her chance, what'd happen anyway if she'd shoot Shepard.

You raise a great point! Sometimes, the real culprits are the ones behind the scenes, but the system shifts the burden on people to turn on one another. That's really heartbreaking, how desperation clouds judgment. It would be so interesting to have a storyline where the real culprits pay for what they did!

Anyway, there are many movies with plots of wealthy ppl placing avg ppl to fight each other on some game. I just finished watching Squid Game s03. This plot alrdy got clichê, like the horror movies where ppl do dumb choices and end up easily killed.
