Dame Enid Diana Elizabeth Rigg DBE (20 July 1938 - 10 September 2020) R.I.P..
I will always remember her as Mrs. Peel (1965-1968) in "The Avengers (1961-1969)". When she left the series to become Mrs. Bond in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)", I was heartbroken and felt sorry for Mr. Steed.

I was very sorry to see about her passing. Diana was such a wonderful star actress and in so very many good things.

Very sorry to hear about the loss of Diana Rigg.
Her portrayal of Emma Peel has become infamous, as the character is often attributed to this day.
I didn't realize before now that Miss Rigg has acted throughout many decades to follow "The Avengers," thus achieving many additional acting credits for this incredibly lovely lady at every turn.
"Bleak House" (BBC Miniseries, 1985) as Lady Honoria Dedlock. Even though this marks one of Dickens' rather downbeat works, it's nice to hear that several a great talent, from Constance Collier to Gillian Anderson have delivered great performances in her turn. It only stands to reason that "Emma Peel" would naturally shine very capably in this role.
Thank-you for many fine film and television appearances, Diana
