One of the coolest, most charming and most handsome actors ever!

It feels like the end of a James Bond era with his passing. I know I will feel the same way when Sean Connery passes.

RIP Roger Moore

Roger Moore will always be "real" James Bond for me as by the time I was old enough, while growing up, to start paying any significant extent of attention, he was in the role, remained in it for several years and was excellent, so is who I'll always view as the quintessential Bond - James Bond.

Mr. Moore is now gone, but will live on forever in his films. Rest In Peace.

For Me, Roger Moore will always be my James Bond. I mean i love all the other. Expect for Dainal Craig. Sorry, But he bores me to death. Anyways there just something about Roger Moore's Bond that was just more fun. He also seem more suave than even Sean Connery.

I totally agree with you, Nygma. It's no wonder that he remained in the role for so many years (1973-1985), longer than anyone else has to date.

I just wanted to share this beautiful story about Sir Roger:-

Can't be a more fitting tale to summarise the joy the great man brought to so many...

What a delightful and sweet story, Midi. Thanks for sharing it!

Isn't he the first Bond actor to die?

Yes, FormerlyK. I read somewhere yesterday that that is so.

Thought so.

Thanks.

i remember how shocked i was hearing his sense of humour in interviews after seeing him play a gentleman in movies ever since i was a kid, for example as he was remembering shooting the scene in "the spy who loved me" where he jumps off the chair that is fired at... - "i now have several holes where most people have one". you don't expect comments like that from sir roger moore.

nobody did it better
