Item: Huang Xuan
Language: en
Type of Problem: Design_issue
Extra Details: I find that the website use the same name no matter I choose English (en-us) or Mandarin (zh-cn) for language. If we a universal name for all languages, are we suppose to always use the English translation for name of artist? Like this one, should we use "Huang Xuan" or "黄轩"?

Thanks for your report!
Yes, for all persons, you should use English names only! Take a look at the Contribution Bible:
"We do not support name translations. All names should be readable in English (diacritic are allowed)."
Meaning in this specific case: "Huang Xuan" is correct, "黄轩" is not correct!
However, you can put "黄轩" in the section "Alternative Names" -> here: https://www.themoviedb.org/person/1376106-huang-xuan/edit?active_nav_item=alternative_names.
Also, when you come across other users who don't follow this rule, you can report this case to us mods and we lock the data field with the correct name (and try to contact the other user).
BUT: It's different with original titles of movies and shows! Again, I quote from the Contribution Bible:
"Unlike some other databases, we do not romanize our original titles. The original title should be in the original script (e.g. Левиафан, 우리들). The romanized original titles can be added as alternative titles."
So, it's the other way around for titles.
