If you see Ben in merely one performance, you remember Ben and his name and his soft-spoken, personable screen presence for many years.
Example - "The Horse Breaker" (1961) episode of "Bonanza" features Ben as an injured trainer who squabbles with Sue Randall (famous as her contemporaneous character of Miss Alice Landers on "Leave It to Beaver."
Miss Randall, unfortunately, would pass in 1984, at age 49. And now Ben. Didn't realize until now how very many acting credits either has, but good that each has a well-documented list upon her/his Filmography.

Very sad to hear.
