Enjoyed his work. From playing "CHET" right on through his final films. Great actor.

Take from us much too soon. Bill Paxton had a way of bringing a role to life like no other performer could. He is best remembered at Corporal Hudson from Aliens, and of course he's played many other great roles as well. One unforgettable performance was as the cowboy vampire Severin from Kathryn Bigelow's brilliant 1987 film Near Dark; the bar scene is not to be missed - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTEPaF5TjWU (IDK if there is a way yet to make links clickable on TMDB, sorry).
Truly a great actor, and a great loss.

Very sad news! He seemed like a good guy and was very memorable in all his roles. My favorite was Frailty, such a good film. And I used to look forward to watching him every Sunday night on his 5 seasons of HBO's Big Love.

This news saddened me just as much as hearing about Carrie Fisher's passing. He was one of my favorite actors for the past 25 years. It's really surreal. 😢

Truly sad to have heard of his passing. He was a great actor and a very good man from what I have read from those that knew and were friends with him.
