Judging by his TMDb picture, I definitely agree with you that he looked like Bogie.

pretty good westerns he made they had comics based on his films. as well.

Right, good observations.
La Rue and Bogie really do share similar facial traits.

Keefer did a great deal of television guest-starring roles back during the Golden Age, but didn't very often play a starring nor recurring character on any one series.
