RIP Robert Hardy

The British actor Robert Hardy, who had a long and prolific stage and screen career, has died aged 91.
He was acclaimed for his portrayals of Winston Churchill and, in recent years, known for a recurring role in the Harry Potter films, but to me will always be Siegfried Farnon in 'All Creatures Great and Small', a show I loved as a kid.

Robert Hardy has always seemed to be very into his characters, being rather overly enthusiastic in the performance of his acting roles. This worked to his advantage and it was an absolute joy to watch him.
