Discuss Brian Dennehy

One of my all-time favorite actors. Silverado, F/X, Tommy Boy, First Blood...the man was a freaking giant and a force in every movie he was in. He was one of the best "bad guys" in film. I'll miss his presence.

Mr. Dennehy certainly was in a lot of things, back in the day, and always gave a very good performance.

RIP.

He made anything he was in better. From what I read he died of just his body wearing out due to a hard life and age. Gosh he was great -- especially in the films you guys mentioned. I would also add: 10, Gorky Park, Best Seller

So many big names have died in the last 2-3 years. His passing kind of went below the radar. I found out about it today on AOL. May he rest in peace.

They had a little piece, probably no more than around 20 seconds in duration, about Mr. Dennehy's passing on the t.v. news I watched during suppertime part of the evening today. Would have been nice (and definitely deserved) if longer, though Covid-19 (and related issues) coverage typically comprises nearly the entirety of national/international news t.v. broadcasts these days.

Yes, that's very true about "national/international news t.v. broadcasts these days." And, somehow, those networks cannot seem to resist spinning it.

My condolences for Brian. He really adds his fine talent to many a program. cherry_blossom
