I loved his work on "Airwolf" and "Danger Island". He was very cool. I'll miss him.

A number of iconic figures from my youth have left us recently... I was never a big Airwolf fan but I certainly did watch it from time to time, and he was a big star, for a time.
I recall having something of a crush on him when we were shown The World's Greatest Athlete at school.

I was very surprised when yesterday I saw recent-years pictures of him. He was nearly unrecognizable and clearly in poor condition, including had part of a leg amputated, and appeared to near certainly be blind in one eye. Very sad.

This is indeed very sad and very shocking news.
Jan-Michael - one of those stars whom everybody liked if ever there were a star whom everybody likes.
