Discuss 小津安二郎

This is how I would rate and rank the Yasujirō Ozu films I have seen to date. He is one of my favourite filmmakers and I have yet to see a film from him which I didn't like or love - although I have a very long way to go with his filmography.

Surely one of cinema's great humanists, his pictures are slow-paced, marked by often static camerawork - and thoroughly beguiling to watch. I also love the work of his regular troupe of actors, notably Chishu Ryu and Haruko Sugimura.

Please share your thoughts/rankings or ratings for this master.
