Wondered whether we could add the following jobs :
Carpenter
Casting Associate
Hair Department Head

You can request missing crew jobs in this topic. The new crew jobs have to be English and free of spelling mistakes. Please specify in which of the following departments each new job should be created: Directing, Writing, Editing, Camera, Production, Art, Costume & Make-Up, Visual Effects, Sound, Lighting, or Crew.
Kindly try to avoid making duplicates job requests (search the last few pages), or requesting crew jobs that are already added to TMDb.

Hey all,
I'm wondering if "Video Assist Utility" could be added, ideally within the Video department alongside the video assist operator and 24 frame playback person.
This reflects the current video department organization for union productions in New York.

Job requests:
Add: Titles Department Writing (this is for on-screen titles you see during silent films). IMDB uses the term Titles, but it could also be called Intertitles. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intertitle
Merge: Scenario writer with "Screenwriter" (they are the same thing. Scenario writer was used in silent and early talkies but it became screenwriter. If we can't merge can we have the Scenario Writer act like screenwriter: Count it as a writing credit for Content Score and have it displayed on the main film page)

We need an Art Department Job for layout artists. We only have Layout in Writing Department. I suggest layout artist or key layout artist(this is on imdb)

Need to add "Field Producer" under Production Department Same with "Archival Associate Producer" and "Archival Producer"
Need to added "mix re recordist" under Sound Department Need to add VO artist(Voice Over Artist) under Sound Need to add re recording mixer / re-recording mixer under Sound post production mix facility coordinator under Sound orchestra recording crew under Sound music production coordination under Sound

I think I saw some of these in the "crew masterlist," but I was wondering if we could have "Additional Writing" and "Contributing Writer" in the Writing category, rather than the plain Crew category (where Additional Writing currently resides).
Also, I am not sure how this would work exactly, but could there be positions that are specifically for additional crewmembers that work on a film for later releases, like people who work on restorations of a film or edit films from footage that was never properly edited together or released? For example, Walter Murch was the editor and the sound designer for the Dickson Experimental Sound Film (1894) for its 2003 restoration and release. I don't think we could really call him simply the "Editor" and "Sound Designer" but maybe something like "Restoration Editor" (in the Editing category) and "Restoration Sound Designer" (in the Sound category)? If this goes against the rule about only crediting crew on the original version of a film, I understand. I just thought this type of thing might be an exceptional case.

There's 'Theme Song Performance' already available but 'Insert Song Performance' crew job is also necessary. So, please consider adding it.

Add to WRITER: Titles -- this is for silent films. Titles is kind of like dialog but was the actual title card they would show with dialog. Desperately need this job for silent films.

ADDITIONAL DIALOG should be moved from CREW to WRITER. It's a writer job.

Hello crew.
I was busy with adding posters for the seasons of The Grand Tour. However in season 3 i made a mistake and uploaded a picture that should be in season 2. https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/67557-the-grand-tour/season/3/images/posters
Its the poster without a language, could you please remove it for me, i have not found out how i could do it myself. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
There is a very important job in Hong Kong movie filmings: the tea lady. The tea lady takes care of everyone in the crew and cast and brings them whatever they need during the production time.
The most important one is Pauline Yeung Yung-lin who is tea lady since 1990 and did this job for 184 films (https://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=27402&display_set=eng).
She even received an award for her career at the "Professional Spirit Award" at the 37th Hong Kong Film Awards, which was brought to her by Jackie Chan himself (https://news.cgtn.com/news/79457a4d356b7a6333566d54/share.html).
Is it possible to create this job? It could be added to the "crew" category.

Can we please add Video Department Supervisor? This job typically manages the video department (video assist operator, video assist utility, video playback technician/24 frame technician) on set, as well as handles administrative functions such as attending production meetings and traveling to tech scouts.

I'd also like to request Playback Mixer in the Sound department. I've heard this position also called "Audio Playback", "Pro Tools Playback Mixer", "Sound Playback", etc.

I'd like to request multiple job positions, under 'Visual Effects' those being: "Assistant Animation Director" "Second Key Animation" "In-between Animation" These are very important to the product of modern animation.
