Hi
I don't know if this is possible or a bug but when Importing ratings from Trakt it does not import anything for TV show Episodes, could a way of importing ratings for Episodes be added or if there is a way how is it done?
Thanks

Not sure if user ratings for episodes are imported by TMDb.
I never tested this.
But I know that Trakt exports two types of files.
Only one of them has what I think is the User Rating at the end of each title line.
Can you tell if your CSV, exported by Trakt, has this information?

Huummm...
Maybe they created a third export model.
If this is true then the admin, Travis Bell, needs to build support for this new export model.
I'll change the title of this conversation to:
Lists - Track with new CSV export file model
Perhaps Travis Bell will ask you to email him this CSV.

I've just tried to upload my ratings and watchlist from Trakt.tv, and I can confirm this feature definitely doesn't work nowadays.

Still not possible to import Trakt CSV file , also getting the same error message: "The file you submitted could not be mapped to one of our supported formats. If you'd like to ask for a new format to be added, head over to the forums".

It's curious that Track changed the file format.
It must still be a plain text file.
Would it be possible for you to post the first 4 lines of the file text here?

it's actually an Excel file. Every CSV file i download from trakt is an Excel filer. I can send it to you not sure how to post it here so i added a link to the file.

I assume it is the one exported by track without changes.
In other words, you did not change the order of the fields.
So yes, it is different from the two models we have.
Compare yours (xx) and the 2 we have.
Does it give you the previous options we have or just this new one?

I did not change anything in the file sent it to you as is. No other option is available on trakt, you can see the CSV export and when i press it this file downloads automatically.
What should i do to solve this? or this will be done on your side?
Thank you so much for your help!

OK
On the list import page,
https://www.themoviedb.org/settings/import-list
we have the following suggestion.
Of course, it depends on some knowledge to adapt your list.
It can be a lot of work.
The person who added these import features was admin Travis Bell.
Looks like he's very busy.
I don't know when he will have time to program the code for a new list model.
Let's keep this discussion open and wait for it to come through.

Thank you for your kind assistance then, Iβm grateful you took the time to reply.
It sucks though that it depends on one person. I understand what you mean and yes it would take me quite a lot of time to go through the excel file and arrange everythingβ¦not worth the time nor is it worth the time that I re-add manually all my shows and movies.
Have a nice day! :)

For anyone landing here with the same error, for the time being you can open the CSV file in something like excel or libreoffice, you only need to delete the runtime column to allow the import to work - just brought in all my ratings from trakt.

Unfortunately, the workaround posted by John Drinkwater (delete runtime column) no longer works. I'd love to find another way around this.
