Most thought Bonanza was absolute utter fiction. But one ep had a youth who was a genius and they (Cartwrights) were trying to get the kid to West Point or Annapolis. The ep was as it turns out was actually 20 percent true using the real name of the genius, him living in Virginia City, Nevada and all.The ep was 'Look to the stars'.
