While trying to exchange a cheap piece of luggage, a gift from Pete's boss, Gladys runs into Pete's boss' wife.

Gladys is a contestant on a television giveaway show and wins the big prize with a story about her husband's serious illness, but Pete's boss sees the show and sends him to the hospital.
