yeah well no. it's still undecided how to handle those long running animes

please read through this thread:
https://www.themoviedb.org/talk/588cb35bc3a368086500058a

also wikipedia is a shitty source, though imdb is much shittier rofl

Also, there are no blank episodes, only in ES maybe, but not in EN (don't blank them out pls thnx). Right now the languages are just not in sync because everything is disagreeing and edit wars and shizzle.

I get it. You're right, but there's one thing I don't understand. Dragon ball has only 153 episodes. It doesn't matter how the seasons are distributed. They should be 153.

Not including season 0, there are 239 episodes. Why?

I have seen that all season 5 are the correct 153 (at least in English) Why are there more seasons?

The spanish translations follow the wikipedia source, that's why I didn't understand anything when I started the report. If you confirm that the first 5 seasons will be valid, I can change the translations of the Spanish language.

Because everyone disagrees about how to format it, arcs or whatever. So there are lots of duplicates right now. From what I see Season 6 /The Fortuneteller Baba Saga = second half of Season 3 /The Commander Red, Baba, & Tien Saga. And thus, Season 4 and 5 are added again as season 7 and 8.

(only talking about english translation)

But well... I'm not touching it for now. There's also the problem of the other languages... Right now I could theoretically fix the english one, but other languages would still be a mess.

Okey. "Because everyone disagrees about how to format it, arcs or whatever. So there are lots of duplicates right now."

Does this mean that you can't delete the seasons and duplicate episodes? Sorry for my bad english, and thanks for answering.

I can help you with spanish translations in this and others animes.

WEll, personally I'm hesistant, because I don't know what the structure for those long-running animes will be in the end. Maybe we even end up with one season with 153 episodes. That's why I myself am more focusing on the shorter/finished animes. I could delete the season 6/7/8 right now, but maybe in another language that information is filled perfectly fine. Or the season 3 SHOULD be splitted and season 4 should be 5, 6, 6 and season 6 should be 4. (Not to mention I cannot rename seasons).

I don't really like deleting the data if it maybe is correct.. and users keep contributing it. Maybe we should all just lock the season but then still new ones could be created to suit someones tastes.

Wouldn't it be more of help if there was a season 0 with 153 episodes and 9 seasons for each saga? This way people could choose how they sort their collection. The german entitled episodes seem to be divided in only 3 seasons (Prinz Pilaw Saga, Red Ribbon Saga, Piccolo Saga) which feels actually wrong to me.

I found (in my opinion a trustworthy) source: http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Dragon_Ball_episodes

Remains the problem with episode numbers: seasonal vs. absolute
