A talent scout feels that Susie has what it takes to be a singer. Her parents, however, object to her concert because they are worried that it will affect her grades. She then decides to fund the venture herself, by asking her older sister for the money.

Tommy, Chuckie, Kimi, Phil and Lil are trying to raise money to see their favorite band live in concert, ""The Sulky Boys"" But are not even close to having enough money to buy tickets. Until they talk Dil into selling his latest invention the ""belt-quarium, which he made for his new fish Pablo. The belts prove to be a huge success, despite Angelica completly ripping off the idea. But when the fad quiets down, Tommy asks and without realizing it, forces Dil to come up with a newer invention. But when each hot item suddenly becomes lame by each day, Dil is pressured to please his brother and friends with new and more origianl creations.

Tommy decides to enter a filmmaking contest judged by his idol Martin Costomiris. But when his sci-fi movie proves to be a disaster, primarily due to the uncooperative cast, Tommy realizes that what goes on behind the scenes of the movie is far more interesting. Risking his friends, he follows them and secretly videotapes some of their private moments. When the others find out that Tommy has betrayed all of them, he's forced to make a choice: his "movie masterpiece" or his friends.

The kids try to get a date to the Valentines Day school dance with their crushes.

Dil is convinced that aliens are coming. Meanwhile, Angelica tries to be a nicer person to get Sean's attention.

Now that she's a teenager, Angelica asks her mother to get rid of all her old baby toys, but she forgets to tell her that her beloved Cynthia doll is an exception. She then races to save her doll from the hands of a greedy toy collector.

When Chuckie's biggest competition in the election for School Safety Commissioner is Dil's imaginary alien friend Izzy, you would think he would have it in the bag, right? WRONG! When Izzy becomes more popular than Chuckie, can he even rely on his friends to help him win?

When theres a talent show on and they've got places for singing, Angelica signs up, but Tommy tells Angelica to let Susie know. When Angelica calls, its on the answering machine, but it breaks. Angelica then pretends she's reminding her in front of Tommy, which when Susie comes back to school, eventually believes in Angelica. Meanwhile, Chuckie, Lil and Phil help Ms O'Keats with her part of the talent show, even though its a bit lame and they have to wear weird costumes and do other weird movements. Dil lets them know about Karma and tells them about that afternoon (Phil, Lil and Chuckie pulled a prank in assembly) and if they do something bad, something bad will happen to them, as in them being humiliated in front of the whole school. The next morning, Angelica's face breaks out with zits and comes to Dil's advice. Dil tells her to do good deeds but it just gets worse. It's soccer season and as per usual, Phil has soccer-on-the-brain. But when Lil casually joins the team, she surprises everyone, including herself, by instantly becoming a super star. At first Phil is excited about having another soccer-head in the family, but when Lil outshines him, he starts to resent her. When Lil finally realizes how upset Phil is, she has to decide whether to walk away from something she loves or continue to play and risk pushing away her only brother.

Tommy and the gang decide to put together a boxcar to compete in the upcoming derby. Can they make it to the finals, or will Angelica spoil their plans by entering her own car in the race?

Susie thinks that Angelica doesn't think much about the future. While Angelica worries about getting a navel piercing, Susie tries to get a scholarship to a good college. So when a school field trip accidentally leaves the two girls stranded in the big city, who will end up having the smarts to get them back safely?

Angelica's teacher is having a baby so she brings in a hot handsome substitute teacher that Angelica falls in love with. She tries to date him by failing her assignments. Meanwhile, Tommy, Phil, and Chuckie are part of the tennis club run by Pangborn. Chuckie is trying to avoid showering at the boys' locker room, but when he takes the chance, he realizes he has nothing to worry about.
